Sou pintora e poetisa, sonhadora.
Nasci no sul do Brasil, em Erechim, no interior do RS. Lá cresci e estudei, desde pequena aprendendo desenho, pintura e piano na Escola Municipal de Belas Artes Oswaldo Engel, um espaço que eu adorava freqüentar!...
Aos 18 anos, mudei-me para Florianópolis, SC, comecei a cursar Letras na UFSC, e vivo aqui desde então. Cedo comecei a dar aulas de desenho e pintura, primeiro numa escola com várias oficinas de arte, depois em meu próprio atelier: SONHO MEU.
Ao longo dos últimos vinte anos, tenho trabalhado dando aulas e produzindo meus quadros, num pequeno atelier no centro da cidade. Continuei meus estudos na área de Letras, fiz mestrado em Literatura Brasileira, enquanto continuei pintando e tentando me aprimorar nesta que é minha grande paixão, a PINTURA.
Faço exposições, aqui em Florianópolis e em outras cidades, e procuro divulgar meu trabalho pelos meios possíveis, mas nunca "corri atrás da fama", portanto não sou uma artista muito popular ou conhecida. Contudo, vejo a Arte como uma das melhores e mais potentes manifestações da criatividade humana, pois instiga a reflexão, a renovação constante de idéias e olhares sobre o mundo, propiciando o aprimoramento da sensibilidade e do ser, o exercício da ternura e da maior das artes, o próprio amor à existência.

O tema predileto de minha pintura é a figura humana feminina, quase sempre circundada ou combinada com flores, borboletas ou instrumentos musicais.
Talvez, eu tente inventar nas telas o mundo suave e harmônico, belo e alado, intenso e sensual, dos meus sonhos mais secretos, belos e acalentados!... Neste ponto, a Arte de pintar pode ser a expressão de meus íntimos desejos, no afã de criar ou encontrar um mundo livre de violência ou miséria, onde o ser humano pudesse conviver pacificamente com os outros seres, numa relação de amor e respeito entre si e com a natureza, sem lugar para a agressividade.
Utopia? Sim, talvez, mas quem de nós não sonha com um paraíso idílico, um espaço-tempo de prazer e paz, onde os movimentos vitais de renovação, mesmo os de morte-vida-morte, não impliquem em sofrimento, tristeza ou dor?... Quem não deseja estar, ao menos por alguns momentos, imerso ou envolvido por luz e azul, sol e alegria, lua e fantasia, prazer e poesia?...
No fundo, todos nós desejamos a plenitude e o AMOR. Todos queremos voar!
