If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Digital, Film, Installation, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Video
I am...
an artist , born in Buenos Aires , Argentina where i studied but then move to Germany and started my nomad life ... that took me to India for several years, Nigeria, Mexico, Spain, and now I am still in Sri Lanka - I have friends of many cultures and races - and have been working with many artists form these places .
My works are in many private collections in more than 4 continents . I enjoy music and dancing , nature , spirit , creative people and many , many things more like the sea and sun
About my artwork
due to my way of life as a modern nomad - there is a subtle influence of different old cultures-where I have lived and work for several years, Argentina, Germany, India, Nigeria, Mexico, Spain, and now Sri Lanka .
I do what I feel , totally independent of the tendencies of our time - "Zeitgeist" -
Since I was a little girl I decided to be an artist- and to be free - If sometimes in this world we cannot be totally free at least in my art !. So I do what I think it is sincere in my life depending what I am going through -
Normally I develop huge projects and it could take 2 years to finish them . In those cases I am immerse in the project and work like possessed by it .
I use to recycle objects that my family or myself have used - I believe in the energies of the objects and in general - I believe there is more around us than we can are able to see - so for me this objects are impregnated with memories , and vibrations of our life . like if there are charged with impressions and stories - My work it is very detailed and full of stories , all interrelated one with each other - I have learned that we humans are connected , and there is a consequence even from our thoughts. That is why when I start a picture I go deep into it .
I like to experiment with different materials and love to learn new media - I enjoy what I do , and it is necessary for me to go on living , I work everyday many hours forgetting time , I have a family but I could manage to do both things . Now may children are grown-up - I think that I sleep very little then I can stay more in my studio . When I travel, and I do it very often , I always take material to work and build mini studios all over I go - I could tell you many stories if you want to hear
Artists I like
so many ......

THE FRIDA KAHLO MUSEUM

A Narrative by Gale Randall

For an offbeat travel experience in the Mexico City area, consider a visit to the Museo Frida Kahlo in Coyoacan. Hidden behind high cobalt blue walls at the corner of Londres and Allende in this charming southwestern suburb, the museo is where the surrealist artist Frida Kahlo was born, grew up and later lived with her muralist husband Diego Rivera, from 1941 until her death at age 47 in
