If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
surreal
I am...
I am a painter of the darkness for a drop of good.
Irretrievably, I immersed into the darkest corners of spiritual destructiveness of a human being in hope to describe it, to stay for a while. Humbleness of those who suffer captured my sensibility.
I resist nit, I seek for the way out.
My images tried to be a message, no one replied.
Now, they are just a scream and I am not sure anyone can hear it.

I was born at Velika Kladusa, Bosna and Hercegovina. As ten years boy I got a price from famous painter Krsto hegedusic and Ivan Generalic.
My work and myself have been inserted among the best artists 20th Century on website www.all-art.org History of Art in the Art of the 20th Century category- Neo surrealism.

I'm member of the Society for Art of Imagination. www.artofimagination.com

About my artwork
Even though the first impression one gets is that of the Renaissance painter Leonardo da Vinci, Mirko Sevic differs from him considerably yet has a personal style that with his great genius is reminiscent of the famous Italian predecessor.
A disciplined and calm artist, Mirko Sevic portrays precise anatomical aura and an accurate figure in a state of metamorphosis and transubstantiation. The Man portrayed by the artist is undergoing transformation even in substance, he is resurrecting. Precision and accuracy in forms are deeply intertwined with - and expressive of - Mirko?s spiritual emotions that reveal to us the destiny of Man-kind. Let us take a closer look at the artist?s works. Their pronounced volume and materialism are just apparent in realism and prone to deception. From the aesthetical point of view Mirko?s images are surrealistic, showing respect for their subject and emphasizing the importance of plastic structure in the performance.

Casa Azul - THE FRIDA KAHLO MUSEUM

THE FRIDA KAHLO MUSEUM

A Narrative by Gale Randall

For an offbeat travel experience in the Mexico City area, consider a visit to the Museo Frida Kahlo in Coyoacan. Hidden behind high cobalt blue walls at the corner of Londres and Allende in this charming southwestern suburb, the museo is where the surrealist artist Frida Kahlo was born, grew up and later lived with her muralist husband Diego Rivera, from 1941 until her death at age 47 in
